In 1999 the “You’re Not Alone” ministry was started for pastors,
missionaries and Christian workers whose kids are abusing drugs/alcohol.
After holding eight conferences and having thousands of people visit our
Web site to receive help after drugs invaded their families, we are
expanding by reaching out to families in the church.
This new dimension will include weekend
ministry in churches. Starting with your Sunday morning services, John
Vawter would preach on “God Can Be Very Close … When Drugs Invade Your
Family.” On Sunday afternoon, we would do a seminar for parents called
“Our Kids and Drugs.”
We will provide written details on request,
including how the weekend can be used to wrap-up a mini-series on
addiction/recovery, to launch a new support group and recovery ministries,
to provide an outreach even for non-Christian friends who have children,
loved ones or family members who are abusing. You may also want to join
with other churches for a community wide outreach.

respond?” We encourage you to prayerfully consider that question.
